Finding a new chapter when the old one ends without permission

For thirty years, I lived in a world where seconds mattered.

As a paramedic and later a trauma and Army nurse, I ran toward the very situations most people instinctively ran away from. Sirens, flashing lights, chaos, life-and-death decisions, these weren't extraordinary interruptions to my day. They were my day.

I knew who I was in that world. I knew what I was capable of. I knew how to function under pressure, make difficult...

To write a blog - my-oh-my, not an area I thought I'd venture into, yet here I am. I suppose this may become a spot which allows me to try ideas and/or plans for future books. I have a children's book or two, yet I'm still struggling with illustrations. ARGH!
